About

An agency that starts by asking

A one-person agency, with no counter and no catalogue. It started from the habit of planning other people's trips, and the suspicion that almost nobody was doing it well.

Why we exist

Anyone can book a hotel in three clicks today. What's still hard is deciding how many nights to stay, in what order to go, and what to give up when the calendar doesn't stretch. That's the work.

01

We have no inventory to move

There are no hotels it suits us to sell. If a place isn't right for you, it doesn't make the proposal.

02

We say no

When the budget doesn't cover the trip you're picturing, we say so before charging, not after.

03

We go to the places

PENDING: replace with whatever is true. If destinations and suppliers are visited in person, this is the place to prove it.

Who will answer you

There's no switchboard and no sales team. The same person who designs your itinerary is the one who answers when you're out of the country.

Diego Ramírez

TRAVELLER AND FOUNDER OF DAAD

I spent years planning trips for my family and my friends, first for the pleasure of it and then because people started asking. At some point I realised the work was never finding the hotel: it was deciding how many nights were worth staying, in what order to go, and what had to be dropped when the calendar wouldn't stretch.

I learned that by getting it wrong. My first itinerary fit six cities into eleven nights. It looked immaculate on paper and turned into five mornings spent packing. Since then I work backwards: first I decide where I want to stay put, and only then what gets seen.

I'm not a storefront agency and I don't want to be. I'm one person who answers the phone, builds the route, books it, and stays reachable while you're away. If you need a catalogue with prices, there are better options than me. If you need someone to think your trip through with you, that's exactly what I do.

What backs this up

A one-person agency can't negotiate with the big chains on its own. That's why bookings go through Fora Travel, a host agency with IATA accreditation and access to the preferred-partner programmes of luxury hotels. You deal with me; the infrastructure behind it is theirs.

HOW BOOKINGS WORK

  • Bookings made under Fora Travel's IATA number
  • Access to more than 5,000 hotels with preferred-partner status
  • Virtuoso consortium rates and benefits, through Fora
  • Brand programmes such as Four Seasons Preferred Partner and Rosewood Elite

WHAT THAT MEANS FOR YOU

  • Room upgrade when availability allows
  • Daily breakfast for two, at participating hotels
  • Food or spa credit, depending on the property
  • Early check-in and late check-out when the hotel allows it
  • A welcome amenity and your booking flagged as VIP

Benefits depend on each hotel and on the day's availability. None is guaranteed in writing before arrival, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you something.
